Where this the game stands
The official beta page takes registrations and states that the closed beta is coming soon. Read on 16 August 2026, that wording had not changed. No build has been distributed to anyone, and no date, size or selection criterion has been published. Registration being open is not the same thing as a beta existing.
What the tabletop establishes
Signups were announced on 7 June 2026, during a developer interview at a summer showcase, alongside the first gameplay footage. That pairing is conventional: a publisher shows a game and opens registrations in the same breath, because the footage is what makes people register. It says nothing about how far away the build is.
What has actually been shown
What exists: a registration form and the phrase coming soon. What does not: a date, a player count, a platform, a content scope, or any statement about whether participants will be able to discuss what they play. It is worth being explicit that a closed beta is usually covered by an agreement not to talk about it, which affects what will and will not appear publicly when it starts.
What to watch next
This is the single most important thing to watch on this game, and it is worth explaining why in plain terms. Everything published so far is marketing material: announcements, trailers, curated footage. A playable build is different in kind — it is the game itself, and it contains the answers to nearly every open question on this site, from what a unit is to how the campaign map works. The day the wording on that page changes from coming soon to anything else is the day this project’s sourcing changes completely. Information correct as of 18 August 2026.
What is not known
These questions have no published answer as of 16 August 2026. They are listed because an absence of information is information — and because we would rather name the gap than fill it.
