According to press coverage of the presentation on 7 June 2026, Rogal Dorn-type tanks were among the Astra Militarum vehicles shown — not confirmed by the publisher in any material we were able to open. On the tabletop the Rogal Dorn is a heavier battle tank than the Leman Russ, added to the range recently. No statistic has been published for any unit in this game.

What the tabletop establishes

The Rogal Dorn sits between the Leman Russ and the Baneblade in Games Workshop’s comparison of their tabletop models, published on 2 November 2022. The article presents it as a new tank with greater size and durability than the Leman Russ, short of a super-heavy’s scale. Its reported appearance in Total War therefore includes a relatively recent addition to the miniature range; it does not establish which other generations of models the game will use.

What has actually been shown

Only its presence has been reported, in the same sentence as the Leman Russ and the Baneblade. It does not establish that the three are separate units, that they sit at different tiers, or that any of them behaves differently from the others.
